HSB awards honorary professorships at the School of International Business

Two new honorary professorships will support the School of International Business at Hochschule Bremen and the International Graduate Center (IGC). Prof. Dr. Lisa Luebbehusen-Scribner and Dr. Günther W. Diekhöner have been appointed in June 2024. Both have a long history of teaching and collaboration with the faculty and IGC and are a great asset.

Prof. Dr. Lisa Luebbehusen-Scribner

Prof. Dr. Lisa Luebbehusen-Scribner was awarded the honorary professorship in "International Marketing and Consumer Behavior". For more than ten years, she has been actively involved in the international partner network IBSA (International Business School Alliance) and the International MBA program at IGC. Lisa Luebbehusen-Scribner teaches full-time at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a member of the IBSA partner network. She has been running a consumer lab in cooperation with local companies for many years and will support teaching at Hochschule Bremen in summer courses and selected semesters. We congratulate Lisa Luebbehusen-Scribner and are pleased to welcome her to Hochschule Bremen.

Dr. Günther W. Diekhöner

Dr. Günther W. Diekhöner received the honorary professorship with the title "Innovation Management and Sustainability". He is the founder and managing partner of the Bremen-based innovation consultancy Die Denkfabrik Forschungs und Entwicklungs GmbH and has been teaching innovation management and design thinking in the part-time Master of Business Administration program at IGC for more than twenty years. Since 2013, Günther W. Diekhöner is also chairman of the IGC Board of Trustees and supports IGC with contacts to companies and institutions in the region. We thank Günther W.
